Competition: Day 1 two-man scramble and day 2 is a two-man best ball Payouts for team Low Gross and Net per flight. All payouts in Druids Glen book money (guests can get a gift card). Number of flights will be determined by number of team entries; 15 teams or less will be a single flight and more than 15 will be two flights. OPEN TO ALL Druid’s Glen Club Members and their guest. ALL Players MUST have an Official USGA Handicap, or you will play to a zero. Maximum 10 strokes index difference between handicaps for players on a team. High handicap will be reduced to meet 10 stroke gap. Seniors (above 65)/Women have option to play one tee forward from the tee played by their flight (for example, move up to gold tees from white tees), however handicap will be adjusted accordingly.
Check-in begins at 6:15 A.M in Pro Shop. Optional cash game entry available in Tap House. Meet at putting green at 7:35, shotgun start at 8:00 am.
As a “Major”, Druids Glen has agreed to boost the prize fund by $500. There will be an additional $500 added for more than 25 teams and an additional $1000 at 38 or more teams.
Cost: ($350 per team) – Includes Green Fees, $60 Competition Fee per team, cart, range balls, and lunch for both days. There will be an optional $30 cash game (Skins & KP) per team as well payable on day of competition, and $10 Hole-in-One Insurance also will be available.
Entry Deadline: All Entries must be received by 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 1st, 2018. Sign up online at LeagueScores or talk to the Pro Shop. Hole assignments will be available on Friday August 2nd.
Event Handicap: Individuals will play at the USGA recommended 90% of their course handicap for best-ball and for scramble 35% of A player and 15% of B player added up. Can’t find a guest? Play with another member, but there will be an additional 10% penalty on your course handicap bringing it down to 80% and a 5% for each on the scramble 30% of A player, and 10% of B player..
Horse Race: Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to play a Horse Race on Friday night at 5:30 PM. Event on if we have 10 or more teams. 30 team max, with Member-Guest participants having priority. $20 per team alternate-shot.
