Men's Club Information
OVERVIEW
Men’s Day events start every Wednesday from March through October, consisting of 9-hole competitions with a variety of games. You must be a Member at Druids Glen to participate in Men’s Night events.
Wednesday's will be scheduled by tee time, with available times starting at 10:30 a.m.
New for 2023, members will be using Golf Genius for signups, results, live scoring, etc. Sign up online at: www.golfgenius.com/ggid/vvgxat for the next week’s Wednesday event prior to Tuesday at 3 p.m. If registration is closed and there are openings, please contact the golf shop and ask for one of the professionals.
During the first few weeks, the format will primarily be “stroke play.” This is done so that new members who have not established a handicap index will have the opportunity to play multiple 9-hole rounds (the GHIN system combines two 9-hole rounds for an 18-hole combined score) and establish a handicap index.
Please visit the men's club schedule tab to see what's on deck for 2023.

WHAT'S NEW FOR 2023?
-
Golf Genius! We've updated our tournament software. Signups, live scoring, results, and more, will be via Golf Genius and the link will be posted on the "Men's Day" tab on the website and members can select tee times and add other members, too. Wednesday league play will open registration six days prior at 8 a.m. and close Tuesday at 3 p.m.
-
The optional side game money (skins) will be collected in the Pro Shop and will be paid out the following Wednesday, available for pick-up.
-
To make it simple, we've moved on from two prices for Wednesday's. The league fee whether you play 9 or 18 holes will be $50 plus tax and includes $8 competition fee and one of our new GPS installed E-Z-GO carts. Tee times also begin earlier, with signups starting at 10:30 a.m. instead of noon.
The golf staff professionals and the board will continually review scores and handicaps throughout our season. If that review shows that an adjustment to handicap index is necessary, we will communicate directly with the member and make the appropriate adjustments to his handicap.

One-time means that players may pay into this competition once, at the start of the season or at any time throughout the season.
The payment is good until either of the options below occur during a Men’s Club-sponsored event (Men’s Day, Men’s Club Major and the new scheduled weekend events):
-
A member makes a hole-in-one during the year, then they win the entire Hole-in-One Insurance pot. Pot will reset and everyone has the option to pay $10 again
-
If no one gets a hole-in-one during a Men’s Club sponsored event (Men’s Night, Men’s Club Tournaments or the new scheduled weekend events) throughout the year, then there will be a KP shootout event in the afternoon at the end of the season.
